yesterday reached home around 6.30 and then felt really3 tired.
ok, so this was roughly what we did during the camp:
day 1 - reached changi beach. changed to swimwear. instructors were introduced. my group, Magellan, our instructors were johhny b., ivan, stanely, uncle lao and a girl. learnt how to kayak for the very first time. used the fibre glass kayak. we had to capsize which wasnt that scary after all but it was actually fun(: then kayak somemore. at night had amazing race which was ok2.
day 2 - had to practice kayak in the stinky canal which was dirty as well instead of at the sea): used the bangdit (made out of plastic which was more difficult to control). had our kayaking assessment there. i passed by the way(: our lunch was delayed to about 1 hour. went back to the sea for kayaking(: practiced "rescue mission", it was more fun being the victim than the rescuer, to me. romit capsized..NEAR THE SEASHORE. i was the closest 1 to him but i was unable to feel panick so i drank my water and kayaked away from him cause i knew that he could just stand up-.-"' at night had another activity about being eco-friendly. Magellan won 1st place..yeay! got 3 bottles of 100 plus as reward. packed bag for expedition.
day 3 - brought all of the 2 seater kayaks to the sea in the morning. after lunch, the expedition started. me and gwen kayaked together. when we rafted up in the sea, all of the person in front had to stand up while the person at the back had to hold the combing of the kayak next to him or her then changed roles. after about 1 hour reached pasir ris which was much nicer than changi. watched video clip about kayaking at night.
day 4 - in the morning, set off for the expedition back to changi. played games in the middle of the sea in our kayaks when we rafted up. gwen got hit by a kayak and was injured at her elbow. i started shouting for help for the instructors to help out. 2 instructors kayaked to us. then saftey boat came and picked up gwen. i had to kayak with a teacher and we were pretty fast, actually. reached changi. bathed. everyone gathered and the instructors had to come out 1 by 1 to say farewell. me, gwen, christie, lip jiang, etc gave a standing ovation when stanely came out..haha(: class chairperson(including me) had to go up, shake hands with one of the instructors, and recieved the certificates. packed bags. last two groups (including Magellan) had to stay back for a while and throw away any stuff that you found. i had to throw away like 2 expensive water bottles:o went back to school. gave out certificates. did a school cheer. dismissed(:
